Virginia Webb

Virginia Webb (1920 – 2012) studied a the Julien Academy in Paris in 1952; landscape painting with Jay Hall Connaway in Dorset Vermont; and portraiture At the Art Student’s League in New York City with Robert Brackman, and Sidney Dickenson.

She exhibited widely including solo shows at The Berkshire Museum (MA), Bronxville library (NY), Barbizon Hotel Gallery (NY), Second Story Gallery (Laramie, WY), Southern Vermont Art Center (VT); The Garden Gallery (Londonderry, VT); and others.

Her paintings are included in public and private collections including Berkshire Museum (MA); Springfield Museum of Fine Arts (MA); Laurance Rockefeller Collection at the Woodstock Inn (VT); Benedittine Abbey Collection (Fecamp, France); The Southern Vermont Art Center (Manchester, VT); The Vermont Statehouse (Montpelier, VT)
