Elfriede Abbe

Elfriede Abbe (American 1919-2012) originally from Washington, D.C.graduated from Cornell University in 1940 with a degree in architecture.

From 1942 to 1974 Elfriede Abbe worked as an illustrator at Cornell. After leaving her position at the university she lived and worked in Manchester, Vermont, where she continued to produce sculpture and graphic works including the serigraphs on this page.
