Edward Landon (American, 1911-1984), seriographer, was born in Hartford Connecticut. In 1929 he moved to New York City where he studied figure drawing with George Bridgman at the Art Students league. Landon received a Gugenheim Fellowship, and a Fulbright research fellowship. He was a member of The Boston Printmakers, The American Color Print Society, The Philadelphia Print Club and other art organizations.
